1. Information We Collect

Toon Tone PK is designed to be as private as possible. We only collect the following data:

  • Username: If you choose to submit a score to a leaderboard or claim a PK result, we store the short tag you provide.
  • Game Data: We store your guesses, scores, the challenge pack you played, and round performance so we can render the PK result page and compute rankings.
  • Challenge Links: When you create a PK, we store the question set and your hidden score so the friend you invite can play the exact same five questions.
  • Technical Data: Our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, browser type) for security, anti-abuse, and performance monitoring.

2. How We Use Data

Your data is used exclusively to run the game — generating PK challenges, computing scores, and displaying leaderboards. We do not sell, trade, or use your data for advertising.

3. Service Providers

We use industry-standard providers to keep your data safe:

  • Private database infrastructure: Our leaderboard and challenge database is accessed only by the private game API. Database credentials are never exposed in the browser.
  • Vercel:Our hosting provider. Vercel provides enterprise-grade security for the game's infrastructure.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: Used to verify that challenge submissions come from real humans, not bots. Turnstile does not require personal information.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

Toon Tone PK uses your browser's local storage to remember your nickname, your in-progress challenge, and basic preferences. This data stays on your device — you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

5. Your Rights

Since we do not collect emails or personal identifiers, we cannot identify specific individuals. However, if you would like a leaderboard entry or PK record removed, please contact us via the feedback channel linked from the home screen.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the game evolves. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
